Beautiful Beasties is an online resource and forum for professional pet photographers where we can share and learn from each other. 52 Project is a group that is provided a different theme each week to stretch and grow our creative minds.

This weeks theme is "repetition". It took me a few days to figure out how I wanted to represent this theme. As I was driving home one evening, I noticed a freshly blacktopped parking lot with bright yellow lines. Bingo!

So I brought Buttercup down to the parking lot and tried lots of various angles and perspectives. This one is by far my favorite.

My trusty assistant (my husband Dan) noticed a grouping of telephone poles at one end of the lot. This time we parked Lucy for the pose. She's going to give Buttercup a run for her money with this modeling thing.
